Theodore Sutherland’s mission is to transform Africa by helping leaders build institutions and cultures that can outlast them.
He’s worked over the past decade with African Leadership Group (ALG) building education institutions to develop 3 million ethical and entrepreneurial leaders. He is currently ALG's Head of Global Management and Leadership Programs, and prior the Head of College at the African Leadership University. As one of the world’s youngest heads of a university, he is also proud of ALU being ranked as one of the top 40 most innovative organisations globally in 2019.
He is on the advisory board of organisations taking Africa to the world - a vertically integrated agribusiness exporting to USA and Europe, and Africa’s premier children’s literature publishing house. He is also actively involved as a second gen advisor in his family’s design and construction firm.
